Hollow Tide Expedition

Hollow Tide Expedition is a slow-burn adventure that trusts you to explore. You wander a half-sunken town, collect odd objects, and piece together what happened to the people who left. The puzzles are logical rather than obscure, so you rarely get stuck in that brute-force way old adventure games were known for.

The atmosphere does the heavy lifting — rain, distant foghorns, a soundtrack that knows when to go quiet. I played most of it in one long offline evening and only stopped because the story genuinely ended on a satisfying note.

If you want narrative over reflexes, and something that plays fine in airplane mode, this is an easy recommendation.
