Legends of Slots is a cozier puzzle than its name suggests

The name Legends of Slots made me brace for something flashy. What I actually found was a tidy little puzzler about lining up symbols in columns to match a target pattern. You swipe a column, the icons shift, and you solve the board like a sliding puzzle with a bit more personality.

The best thing about it is the pace. There's no clock screaming at you, so you can sit and plan a tricky board or breeze through an easy one. I played it on a two-hour train ride entirely offline, and it never once asked me to reconnect or sign in.

A quick tip: don't rush the early levels. Legends of Slots teaches each symbol's quirk slowly, and the locked-tile mechanics later only make sense if you paid attention earlier. Once it clicks, the harder boards become genuinely satisfying rather than frustrating.

Is it a masterpiece? No. But as a pocket puzzle to fill ten quiet minutes, it does exactly what I want and does it cleanly.
