Legends of Slots

Legends of Slots sounds louder than it plays. It's really a calm symbol-matching puzzler built around spinning columns of little icons — swords, lanterns, acorns — that you nudge into rows to clear a board. Each level sets a target shape, and the fun is figuring out the order of moves to get there before you run out of taps.

Controls are a single swipe per column, which makes it a one-handed game perfect for a train seat. The difficulty climbs gently: early boards teach you the symbols, and later ones throw in locked tiles and columns that only move in one direction. I liked that the hint system nudges without solving the whole thing for you.

It runs completely offline once installed, saves progress locally, and never asked me to sign in. After a long session the themed backgrounds and soft music genuinely helped me unwind. It won't blow your mind, but as a pocket puzzle it earned a permanent spot on my home screen.
